These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Sketchronix (the "Service"), operated by Houssem ("we," "us," "our"). By using the drafting engine, generating a blueprint set, or making a payment, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
1The Service
Sketchronix is a self-serve drafting tool that generates deck blueprint and framing plan sets based on the dimensions, materials, and layout options you enter. Your first generation is free; each additional plan set is a paid, one-time purchase.
2Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to make a purchase. By using the Service you confirm the information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
3Your Input Data
The plans you receive are generated entirely from the dimensions, address, and options you provide. We do not independently verify site conditions, soil quality, local zoning, or existing structural conditions. Incorrect input will produce an incorrect plan — it's your responsibility to double-check your measurements before generating a set.
4Not a Substitute for Professional or Engineering Review
This is the most important section of these Terms. Sketchronix plans are a drafting aid intended to assist with permit applications. They are not a substitute for review by a licensed structural engineer, architect, or your local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ), and — unless a specific plan set is explicitly labeled as engineer-stamped — are not certified engineering documents.
You are solely responsible for submitting plans to, and obtaining approval from, your local building department before beginning construction, and for confirming that the design complies with the applicable building code, local amendments, and site-specific conditions in your jurisdiction. Sketchronix is not responsible for permit rejections, code violations, construction defects, or any injury or property damage arising from the use of a generated plan.
5Payment & Refunds
Paid plan sets are billed at the price displayed at checkout (currently $50.00 USD per set) and processed securely through PayPal. See our Privacy Policy for how payment data is handled.
Because each plan set is generated and delivered instantly as a digital file, all sales are final once a PDF has been generated and delivered. If a payment succeeds but your plan set fails to generate or deliver due to a technical error on our end, contact us and we'll issue a replacement or a refund.
6Free Trial
One free plan generation is offered per visitor. We reserve the right to limit, modify, or discontinue the free trial at any time, and to deny free access to anyone we reasonably believe is attempting to circumvent the trial limit.
7Intellectual Property
The Sketchronix drafting engine, templates, branding, and underlying software are the property of Sketchronix. Purchasing a plan set grants you a personal, non-exclusive license to use that specific generated PDF for your own construction or permit-application project. You may not resell, redistribute, or represent a generated plan set as the work of anyone other than Sketchronix, or use the engine itself to build a competing service.
8Prohibited Use
- Attempting to reverse-engineer, scrape, or automate the drafting engine or free trial system.
- Submitting false project information with intent to defraud or misrepresent a project.
- Using the Service for any unlawful purpose.
9No Warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. We do not guarantee that generated plans will be accepted by every building department, as permit requirements vary by jurisdiction and change over time.
10Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sketchronix's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the specific plan set in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to construction costs, project delays, permit denial, or personal injury or property damage arising from construction based on a generated plan.
11Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Sketchronix harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your construction project, or your violation of these Terms.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after a change is posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We'll update the "Last updated" date above whenever changes are made.
